when we arrived at curimao for the first time, the bus let us off near the seaport so we had to walk all the way to the where the rock formations are. see the map below to get an idea of how long we walked, but arrived just before the sun was setting so we had time to rest and relax. i took out my ukelele and just started playing.
waiting for the sunset
the Local Fisherfolk coming home from spear fishing
all you have to do is sit down, slow down, and wait
the sun has come to set at curimao
the sunset lingers at curimao
after the ultra long sunset, we went back to the room we rented and woke up early to do some snorkelling by the port.
a week later, we came back to curimao from visiting the municipalities in the north and did more snorkelling, this time we were at the village at the edge of curimao near the paoay sand dunes. we were specially amused by the little fishing swimming close to us.
see the small yellow fish at the center? it swam with us taking shelter under us from the sun
we were here to watch the sunset: curimao ilocos norte
