The Highlights of my eventful September First Byaheng mindanaw raided our house to celebrate my 34th year Second we went to glan saranggni to experience one of the oldest towns in Mindanao. Exploring their heritage structures and enjoying their beaches in our ethnic costumes Third we spent an afternoon witnessing GenSan's Tuna festival and ate street food! Byaheng Mindanaw is composed of individuals who want to travel and share their travel experiences to the world. Specifically we travel different locations all over Mindanao Philippines in our ethnic Costumes and immerse in the different cultures and locations. When we come home, we share our experiences to everybody all over the world through internet and other media. We write about the places we have been to, and share the pictures we took, recordings, and sketches we made about the flora, fauna, and people we met and the music and dances we witnessed.

Last August 20, Kanako Makino , a japanese Journalist homestayed at Kikit's parents house. She was there in Calinan Davao City to interview the some Japanese Descendants and their experience in World War II.

My first Kaamulan Festival Experience

Fun Facts: - for each group of performers, 75% of its participants are real Indigenous People, the dancers, the musicians and the costumes and accessories worn are the real deal. - there are 7 tribes being portrayed in the festival and 22 groups performing - the performance was split in to two days for maximum energy for the performers and the spectators - the seven tribes names are : Bukidnon, Higaonon, Manobo, Matigsalug, Talaandig,  Tiwahanon and Umayamnon - when you travel, you will make new friends, and surely you will look forward to go traveling with them in the future.
