On the sixth day we joined a half day tour. The earliest restoran that was open was an indian resto that served nasi lemak and aloo (spicy stir fry potato) and eggs and coffee and thats what i had and it was, for me, a great breakfast.
While waiting for the tour to start, i had time to sketch part of the sk convent that was visible from the tour shop.
First stop was Boh tea plantation where we got to see green landscapes and long mountain ranges.

First stop was Boh tea plantation where we got to see green landscapes and long mountain ranges.
Then we moved to the tea factory where they showed us how they made the tea leaves into tea bags.
I was not on the tea factory tour because i was sketching the staff house.
i had time to sketch this tree with a wierd branch going sideways and the house of the ex-tea farm manager in the background.
Then we went to the highest point in Cameron highlands, the sketch below was done at the top of a lookout tower and we were almost covered in fog.
Then went for a walk at the mossy forest (awesome trees and moss and flora which were too beautiful for my hands to sketch).
After a quick, cheap, spicy and filling Chinese lunch we went to the butterfly garden where i saw live 3 horned beetles (and stick insects and huge grasshoppers) for the first time.
Then we walked 4 kilometers (more than one hour) to the Sam Poh Buddhist temple and got there around past 6pm.
Then we took the taxi going to the waterfalls (well, it had water that fell) before going back to town for dinner where we had steam boat and tried to listen to Gil's (the guy who is into leathercraft but says he is not a shoe repairman) amazing blues guitar before foriegners took the guitar away from him because they think they could play. I had Guinness beer, it was bitter but i still like Cerveza Negra. Amen.
