the forest camp

sketches from the forest camp resort in Valencia, Oriental Negros, i want to go back there, the water is refreshingly cool, the air is clean, and there are no videoke booths inside the resort that spoil the sounds of nature.

the entrance fee is 80 pesos for adults. you can bring food from outside, no drinking is allowed inside the vicinity.

if you prefer a cheaper alternative, where you can brink alchoholic drinks and have sing-along, there are also the pools just near the forest camp, alot of young people and locals prefer going there than in forestcamp.

all the pools' water come from casaroro falls so its all natural.

get there by taking the jeep from dumaguete. fare is 15 pesos from dumaguete to valencia, and from valencia to forest camp, you can either walk there or take a tricycle for 7 pesos per head.

from cebu, get to dumaguete by bus, plane, boat or fastcraft. the cheapest way to get there is by bus which you will only spend not more than 400 pesos one way.
