Image
Located before you actually reach Bais city in Negros Oriental, you can see Central Azucarera de Bais (the factory chimneys) in the background of the fishpond drawing. to Bais City: take the bus (at south bus terminal) or vhire (at city link) to the liloan, santander warf. estimated fare, 130 to 150 pesos at the warf, take either pumpboat or fastcraft, i recommend the pumpboat if you are the adventurous type and like the wind on your hair and you know how to swim. estimated fare: 50 to 70 pesos the boats dock at the sibulan wharf in negros oriental, from there you can take a 45 min bus ride to Bais City. estimated fare: 20 to 40 pesos

Camotes Island

Image
Me and Kikit celebrated our first year anniversary in Camotes Island last August 15. It was an unexpected trip so i was not able to bring my notebook, luckily there are stores there that sell school supplies, so i got a pencil, sharpener, a sketchbook, and 2 pens, i was not able to use the pens though. you can see how thin the paper is on the sketchbook. Camotes island is a great island, unless you are being stalked by 'creatures of the night' :D Other than that, prices are cheap and the beaches are prestine and clean, there is also the cave where you can swim in if you are not claustrophobic. Get to camotes island by taking the ferry from Danao warf, you can tour the whole island in one day. Be sure to keep safe from 'wakwak'

Mountain View

Image
Mountain view is a nice picturesque place, with different familiar scluptures all over the park and a nice view of the city. But do not go there for peace and quiet during weekends, there's videoke/karaoke machines everywhere. Get there by taking a motorcycle ride from JY Square mall in lahug, cebu city. Motorcycle fare is 50 pesos per head.
