this undated drawing was done between late september and early october 2014 at our house at calinan. it was a rainy afternoon and i usually sit outside our front door steps in the afternoon just before 5pm to watch the white egret birds fly back home to the calinan rice fields and perch on top of coconut trees just behind our house, i noticed these birds just enjoying a light rain bath and had to draw and write about them. ug ang mga langgam ni lingkod wala naglihok wala nagsaba nagpaulan sila nagtanaw sila sa ulan ug ilang gibati ang ulan sa ilang balahibo translation: and the birds sat without moving without making a sound they bathed they watched the rain they felt the rain on their feathers
