i travel sketch live

I sketched this tree last year while on our Song writing workshop break. This tree is one of the many beautiful trees scattered all over the campus. Located near just beside the gym. I was sitting there enjoying the afternoon breeze and there it was standing infront of me, i just had to sketch its trunk because of the texture and how old it looks. Trust me, the tree looks a thousand times better for real comapred to this sketch. Location: St. Theresa's College, Mango Ave. Cebu City Get there by taking jeepeneys that pass by Mango ave from the downtown area like 04C and 17c.

Not my first life drawing of a church, but certainly my first life drawing of a structure in such a long time, i think the last time i drew a church was when i was in elementary in Bais City, Negros Oriental. This would be my favorite church in cebu when it comes to its looks, it has the Eye of Providence on the front and looks like a fort. I think this church was built by Free Masons but im not really sure. What also draws me in are the cracks in between bricks and mortars can bee seen outside.
